Then visit the really big local markets like Zegyo Market and Zay Cho Market.
You can even stop along the way and visit one of Mandalay’s famous Tea Shops for a relaxing drink. If you do, try what they call “bear cake”, it apparently is made of bean curd but it is really light and tastes divine.
