Itinerary

This tour is 6 days. Spend two days in and around Mandalay seeing places like Amarapura, Inwa, Saigaing and Mingun.

Then spend four days travelling in the Shan plateau seeing provincial towns like Pyin Oo Lwin, Kyaukme, Hsipaw, Naung Pein and Naung Cho.

You will be able to have a splash in waterfalls, wander around the National Gardens, enjoy an old time stagecoach ride, explore ancient cave pagodas, have a short train ride over the Gokhteik Viaduct and have fun trekking through local areas and villages.

We can change this trip if you want to spend more days in a certain town. Contact us and we will be happy to make your own tour for you.

Day 1 :

Day 1

Pick you up from airport. Book into your hotel and then visit the ancient towns of Amarapura, Inwa and Sagaing. Sunset at U Bien wooden bridge and drive back to your hotel.

Day 2 :

Day 2

Pick up from hotel and visit sights around Mandalay by car and then go to Mingun by private boat and drive back to hotel.

Pick you up from Pyin Oo Lwin hotel and drive to Gokhteik Viaduct to take photos with the train and Gokhteik bridge. And then drive to Kyaukme to eat lunch and visit local places. Continue to Hsipaw to visit Little Bagan and Haw Nan or Sawbwa palace and drive up to Koe Su Taung to see beautiful sunset. Drive to hotel to check in. Rest at your hotel night time.

Day 5 :

Day 5

Make one day trekking around Hsipaw on foot (or) trekking by small local boats in the Dokeda Waddy River. You need to rent a local guide to make trekking for your safety.

Day 6 :

Day 6

Pick you up from your hotel in Hsipaw to visit morning market and drive back to Mandalay. On the way visit Baw Gyo ancient pagoda. Continue to Naung Pein to take a short train trip to get an experience with train on the Gokhteik Viaduct over 300 feet high from the ground. Pick you from the train station at Naung Cho. Drive to Wet Wunn to visit Peik Chin Myaung Cave. Drive to Pyin Oo Lwin to take a tea break there. And then drive back to your hotel in Mandalay. End of tour.
